This is it — the "must-have" CD collection for Chet Atkins fans! Actually, I'd call it a "must-have" for every fan of solo guitar.

Released by the Atkins Estate after Chet's passing, these are his personal home studio recordings. The solos were hand-picked by Chet’s grandson Jonathan Russell, his long-time friend and fellow guitarist Paul Yandell, and Chet's engineer, Mike Poston. The 2-CD set covers a wide, diverse range of music: jazz and pop standards, classic ragtime, country-western, traditional and spiritual—just glance at the track listing below!

The best thing about this CD set is that (except for two tracks) this is all solo guitar! Listening, you feel like Chet is right in the room with you, sharing his latest arrangement. By the way, the sound quality is excellent! Remember we're talking about Chet Atkins - so his "home studio" was a state-of-art, pro-level studio! Very highly recommended!
