In this section, you will find a selection of silver art rounds featuring fictional characters developed by Walt Disney.

Most of these rounds were minted by The Rarities Mint with the authorization of the Walt Disney Company.

These rounds are pure silver, one troy ounce, unless otherwise noted. The rounds are usually 40mm in diameter.

Shipping & handling charges are added on at checkout and are based on the total amount of your order from our site (see chart at bottom of this page).

These pics are enlarged to show detail. The actual medals are 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

Apparently, these pieces were produced for both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. They were available for purchase at the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Not sure when these were made. The only ones similar that I found online were all from Disneyland. Walt Disney World pieces must be scarcer.

Common Reverse of the Snow White Rounds

The table below features those loveable dwarfs from the Snow White Movie. Also the Witch, The Prince and the Hunter and Queen. They were part of a 11-piece set which included all of these as well as Dopey and Snow White. Unfortunately, this collection I acquired did not have examples of either Snow White or Dopey.

We have several of each of these available if you would like more of any particular character that we offer.

All of these rounds are one troy ounce of pure silver and are in perfect mint proof condition.

They come encased in a hard plastic capsule in the original flip top case of issue with the COAs and the outer box.

Some may exhibit natural toning around the edge.

Kirk & Sons Magic of Disney Rounds

The Magic of Disney medals were minted in 1973 by Kirk & Sons Silversmiths Company which has been in business since 1815. They were commissioned to make a series of medals featuring Disney characters. These large (50MM) medals were minted in both Sterling Silver and Pewter (noted on the edge). The medal depicts a Disney character on the obverse and a brief description about it on the reverse. Altogether, there were 12 medals minted and the characters featured were: Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Pinochio, Goofy, Snow White, Cinderella, Bambi, Peter Pan, Alice, Dumbo and Donald Duck.
