The Bill of Rights Ingot Collection

Franklin Mint's Bill of Rights Ingot Collection

This beautiful set of 10 Frosted Proof Sterling Silver Ingots was minted by the Franklin Mint in 1975 and issued on the occasion of the bicentennial of the United States to commemorate the Bill of Rights, the document that guarantees Americans' basic freedoms. The 10 ingots in this collection portray scenes dramatizing the meaning of each of the first ten amendments to the Constitution, our Bill of Rights. The reverse of each ingot describes the Amendment honored and the right it guarantees.

These lovely ingots are 1 3/4 X 1 1/4" in size. They weigh 35.4 grams each and the ten piece set contains 10 1/2 troy ounces of pure silver.

Typical Ingot

These Frosted Proof Sterling Silver Ingots are practically as minted although the surfaces are a little cloudy. They would dip out nicely if one so desired.
