This six-coin set featuring scenes from the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy was minted in 2003 by The Royal Mint of New Zealand to commemorate the movie trilogy that was filmed in New Zealand. The coins each bear the denomination of $1 and are minted in .925 sterling silver with a proof finish. The coins are 38.61mm in diameter and weigh 28.28gms each. This choice set comes complete with the original cases of issue and certificates of authenticity.
