1040A, 1040EZ are gone. The new 1040 is a postcard sized form with front and back information. There are 6 new schedules which now backup that postcard. This is where we will apply your itemized deductions, business, rental and farm profit and losses. Capital gains and losses will be reported on these schedules as well. These schedules will continue to transfer information to your state returns.
This is why you should still take time to organize your information as you have done in the past. We will need that information for both the federal and state returns.
