Compliance measures require stringent security and privacy practices to ensure patient confidentiality for all health care related information. Security and privacy of patient information is one of our top concerns at DBPMTs com.

All HIPAA regulations concerning client/patient information weather, digital voice files, data storage or document management conforms to or exceed HIPAA requirements. All medical transcriptionist take required annual HIPAA/HI-Tech training.

All files are encrypted to military grade standards. All information transfers employ SSL (Secure Socket Layers), which is the most secure internet connection available. This ensures that all files being uploaded and/or downloaded on the Internet are encrypted for secure transfers and added privacy.

DBPMTs employ a number of data security levels:

DBPMTs servers use established military and US government approved firewalls thus providing the highest up-to-date security available over our private network. No information is stored or outsourced to third party server storage companies.

DBPMTs client information remains on DBPMTs own servers until transferred to clients servers or permanently deleted from our systems in all cases this information is encrypted while at rest. This extra layer of security is specifically designed to keep your files and other information safe.

DBPMTs has for years been involved in government and military medical transcription services and all user files are safely stored on private company owned servers. These servers are physically isolated from the public Internet.

Physical security of servers are security monitored in 24/7 facilities providing seamless connectivity, guaranteed uptime, mirroring capability, and security. All files are stored on triply-redundant storage systems, providing exceptional data integrity.
